Mont Rochelle SkyRace® starts in the famous Cape wine growing town of Franschhoek. 

The race is a Cape Classic and has been a firm favourite on the trail running calendar. We've switched up the route direction and the race date has moved to mid September to provide a more wintery feel. Snow could be greeting runners as they head towards Perdekop (1575m), the highest peak on the route.

The race starts with a relentless climb from the town to Du Toits Peak (1419m), from there it's a fast flowing descent into the high valley to the Aid station at Uitkyk before another climb with runnable sections to Perdekop. From Perdekop it's time to lock in those downhill legs for a long and, at times, technical descent into the town and for your race finish in Franshhoek.
